HUMANITY IS DYİNG
Savaş Sarikaya

I don't know what kind of an era we are in.
Opportunities have increased and look, humanity is dying
Innocent cries and bad ones always laughing
Opportunities have increased and look, humanity is dying

There are hyena-faced ones who do not understand hungry
We used to be embarrassed before when someone was hungry
The worth of a bite is just as much as honor
Opportunities have increased and look, humanity is dying

For the cruelty of the innocent, hearts turned to stones
Interests confused, to justice and knowledge
What is this knowledge of ignorance while living in the space age
Opportunities have increased and look, humanity is dying

What is called civilization enters into human blood
It thinks that what it gets away with everything it does
Technological weapons takes away people's lives
Opportunities have increased and look, humanity is dying

Greedy covered eyes the wealty is more hungry than poor
There is no mercy, everybody needs everything
Worms have fallen on their conscience, no medicine is profitable
Opportunities have increased and look, humanity is dying

There is no respect, love, old and young, we are always one
We say "dumb" if someone has a conscience
What a life is this we are deaf, dumb and blind
Opportunities have increased and look, humanity is dying

Tell me "Young Lover" if this era goes over
With what and how this Earth is accounted for
You cannot pay for your sin with money or loot
Opportunities have increased and look, humanity dying

PHONES
Savaş Sarikaya

Now the phones are out sir
The world is in your palms
There is everything you are looking for
Search what you want, when you want
Whether you hear their voices or see their faces
But do you think it's enough?
Can you feel the smell of the newspaper
Can you touch a friend's hands
Can you wipe his tears from the screen
Does it give you the pleasure of cinema?
While you watch your favorite artist
Does he see you too?
Come on, turn off your phone
Grab a newspaper
Knock on a friend's door
Hug his neck, pat your back
Tell him you missed him in his most natural state
Go to a concert, to the movies, maybe
Don't bury yourself into the phone in your hands
Back to earth brother

May Your Dirty World Be Yours
Savaş Sarikaya

Don't get up early in the morning
Don't say what are you doing
Can you sleep?
It's raining again
Time is getting rid of its dirt
While the man is washing his bloody hands
In the tears of the innocents
Children, flowers want water, love
In every child's grave
There are tears of fathers and mothers
Bombs are smashing
The innocent bodies that I can't bear to kiss
Dividing the pitch black of time
A bullet in the treacherous ambush
Screams are echoing from the man in the moon
Do you know why children are afraid of the night?
Treacherous shadows roam their innocent bodies
They don't know how to fight for ridiculous reasons
They share their toys as brothers
May it be your dirty world.
May it be yours
One playground is enough, they share it brotherly

Hello, Hero Bolivian

Savaş Sarikaya

Such a war for the homeland
Let the enemy cry when you die
Such a war for the homeland
May your homeland feast

While defending a single stone of the homeland
Or defending a bridge
Stretching your chest to the relentless bullets
If you get hit with three bullets
One for the country
One for freedom
One for the flag
One day the homeland will nestle
One day the flag is covered
One day the homeland is free
Such a war for the homeland
Let the enemy cry when you die
Such a war for the homeland
May your homeland feast

Do not be afraid!
'Cause heroes don't die
They live in the heart of the nation
In the wave of the flag
Every time, at a baby' breathes freely
In the soil and stone of the homeland

Such a war for the homeland
Let the enemy cry when you die
Such a war for the homeland
May your homeland feast

And your name is given to the squares
Your street-worthy name is Aduardo
Your heroism makes a poet's heart tremble
He writes poems for you from far away countries
Mixing a handful of homeland soil to his land
And maybe it will happen
Putting a bouquet of flowers on your grave
Respect you at attention
Respect you at order arms
