Let Me Be My Own Light.....

Let me be my own light, shining bright and bold,
Guiding myself through life's journey, young and old.
No darkness can fade, the radiance I hold,
My inner strength, my heart's untold.

Like a lotus blooming, in the muddy pond,
I rise above, where love and peace beyond.
My spirit unfurls, like a butterfly's wings,
Free to soar, where hope and joy sing.

From Baraut's fields to the world's stage,
I'll walk my path, turning every page.
With every step, a new dawn breaks,
My light illuminates, the mistakes.

Let me be my own light, in every test,
My conscience guiding, doing my best.
Through trials and tribulations, I'll find my way,
And shine brighter, with each passing day.

In this journey of life, I'll lead the way,
My inner light, shining night and day.
No external force, can dim my glow,
My self-belief, forever aglow.

In the quiet corners of a room, 
Where knowledge blooms, and minds consume, 
A teacher stands, with heart so wide, 
A beacon, a guide by every side.

With patience, wisdom, strength, and grace, 
You nurture dreams, each soul you embrace. 
Through sleepless nights and tireless days, 
You light the path in so many ways.

You are the sculptor of future's clay, 
Molding minds to find their way. 
With every word, with every smile, 
You make this journey so worthwhile.

The seeds of hope, of truth, of might, 
You plant in hearts, you give them flight. 
In every student, young or grown, 
Your endless legacy is shown.

Oh, teacher, wise and ever true, 
The world is brighter, thanks to you. 
For every lesson, big or small,

I Know Nothing Except Saving Humanity

In a world torn apart by strife and pain
I stand for peace, a beacon to sustain
Humanity's hope, a flame that burns so bright
Guiding us forward, through the darkest night

I know nothing except saving humanity
From the depths of despair, to a brighter destiny
Through peace and prosperity, I strive to make
A world where love and kindness, forever will partake

From the streets of Baraut, to the world outside
My message of peace, echoes far and wide
Through every breath, I pray for peace to reign
And humanity to flourish, free from pain and shame

As a peace activist, I've dedicated my life
To the pursuit of peace, and an end to strife
I've walked the path, of non-violence and love
Following the footsteps, of the great peacemakers above

My heart beats for humanity, my soul sings for peace
I'll continue to strive, for a world where love will release
The chains of hatred, the bonds of fear
And humanity will rise, to a brighter year

I know nothing except saving humanity
Through peace and prosperity, this is my destiny
I'll keep shining the light, of peace and love so bright
Guiding humanity forward, through the darkest night.

Nature's balance, disrupted and worn,
Future uncertain, as Earth is torn.

About the Poet:
Dr. Ashok Kumar is an international bilingual poet from Baraut, Baghpat, UP,  India. His philosophical, spiritual and mystical poems are published and translated into various languages like Urdu, Spanish , German, French  etc. He has masters in three subjects English literature, Political science , Education. He did his B.Ed  from CCS university Meerut with first division. He got his honorary doctorates from Africa, Nigeria and other countries. He's working as a principal in an institution of india Bharat. He is an international peace activist . He's an environmentalist who loves nature too much .
