আকাশে তারারা হাঁটছে
নীচে হাঁটছে শরণার্থীরা
এক পৃথিবী দুঃখ নিয়ে
একে অপরের দিকে তাকিয়ে আছে তারা
বিস্ময় ভরা নয়নে
মৃদুমন্দ বাতাসের হাত ধরে জ্যোৎস্না হাঁটছে
কাঁটাতারের বেড়ায় কিংবা জলসীমায় পা বাড়াচ্ছে শরণার্থীরা
এক টুকরো স্বপ্ন সাথে নিয়ে
একটু সুখী-জীবনের স্বাদ পেতে কিংবা
প্রাণহানির তাড়া থেকে বাঁচতে
সীমান্তরেখায় আটকে পড়ছে অনেকে
অনেকে আবার গুলিবিদ্ধ হচ্ছে কিংবা
সলিল-সমাধি জোর করে তাদের কাছে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে
সহস্র আলোকবর্ষ-পথ অতিক্রম করে তারা
পাড়ি দিচ্ছে অকালে না ফেরার দেশে

গণ তরঙ্গ উঠে ফেনী।
জন্মগত অধিকার বুঝে নিতে
রণাঙ্গনে ধাবমান যারা
শান্তির, মুক্তির বার্তা বাহী ওরা।
মেহনতি মানুষের অগ্রণী দল
সাম্য মন্ত্রে অবিচল।
তারুণ্যের জয় নিশ্চিত হবে
পৃথিবী তখন শান্ত হবে।

উমর ফারুক
জ্বলে ওঠে আঁধারে বেড়ালের চোখ
ভয় পেয়ে খুকুমণি হয় সংকোচ।
পথ হারা হয়ে গেল পেরিয়ে উঠোন
দগদগে আগুনে পোড়া হলো বাঁশবন
পাঁচিলের ওপাশে কি ধুপধাপ পড়ে
বেড়ালের চোখ দেখে বুকে ভয় ধরে
আত্মার চোখ নাকি বেড়ালের বুকে
চিন্তায় ব্যাকুল হয়ে মরে ধুকে ধুকে ।
খুকুমণি ছ'য়ে পা পাবে ভয় বটে
বড়রাও পেয়ে ভয় অযথা কেন ছোটে ?
অদ্ভুদ চোখ যেন আগুনের গোলা
পেয়ে টের মানুষের পাকিয়েছে দোলা।
একুশের রাত গুলো বড় ভূত্তুরে
দত্যিরা খুঁজে আনে লাশ মাটি খুঁড়ে।
বেড়ালের চোখ হয়ে রাতে ঘুড় ঘুড়
সন্ত্রাসী হয়ে ওরা করে ভাঙচুর

আমার হস্ত প্রসারিত হয়েছে
অনেকগুলি মৃত্যুর কাছে
শব বাহিকার দারোয়ানের কাঁধ বরাবর
একটি স্বাধীন সূর্য ওঠে লাল।
বিপন্ন মানবতার উষ্ণ সংলাপ এড়িয়ে
কঠিন বিদীর্ণ বেদনায় বেদনায়
হতাশার জাল বুনেছি শিবিরের কুঠুরিতে।
রক্ত স্নাত জলদস্যুদের জন্য প্রস্তুত
মারণাস্ত্র হাতে নেয়া গোষ্ঠী —
পৃথীবির মাটিতে মৃত্যুর ছায় মেখে হেলেদুলে মাথা নাড়ল কাশফুল আর
গোলাপের পাপড়ি গুলো স্বর্গের প্রজাপতি।

বৃষ্টি ঝরে ঈদের আমেজ মন্দ নয়
তবুও মোদের রবের কাছে শির নত হয়
পাঞ্জাবি গায় ঈদগাহে যায় খুশির দিন
বৃষ্টি ঝরে পড়ুক তবু দিন রঙিন।
হাসি খুশি মুখ টা এবার দেখ চেয়ে
পাখিরা ওড়ে ঈদগাহে যায় গান গেয়ে।
ঝেড়ে ফেলে দাও যত আছে মন্দ ক্ষোভ
দাও সপে দাও হৃদয় তোমার বিবেক সব।
দু হাত ভরে দিয়েছে তিনি চেয়েছি যা
ছায়ার মত করুণা ঝরান আমার গা।
ঈদের খুশি ভাসছে হাওয়া যার কলরব
কবে হবে ঈদ নবীর দেশে তুমি বল রব।
খুশির জোয়ার তুর্কী আরব বিশ্ব জুড়ে
আল কুদসে স্বাধীণতার নিশান উড়ে।
মসিহ আবার এসেছে যেন ইমাম হয়ে
নবীর দেশে নিশান ওড়ে দিক বিজয়ে।
আমরা এবার বিভেদ ভুলে এক কাতারে
আনতে বিজয় ঈমান বুকে যাই সাঁতারে।
পরিচিতি
কবি উমর ফারুকের মূর্শিদাবাদ জেলার রঘুনাথ গঞ্জ ব্লকের রায়চক গ্রামে জন্ম। কবিতা লেখার পাশাপাশি তিনি প্রবন্ধ ও ছোটো গল্প লেখেন। লেখালেখির জগতে তরুণ তুর্কী লেখকদের মধ্যে ইনি অন্যতম মুখ। দৈনিক পত্র পত্রিকায় নিয়মিত লেখালেখি করে বেশ সুনাম অর্জন করেছেন। ইনি ছাত্র জীবন থেকেই লেখালেখি ও সাহিত্য চর্চার সাথে জড়িত। মাসিক পত্রিকা "নাবিক" তার হাতে খড়ি।এর পর থেকেই বিভিন্ন সংবাদ পত্র ও ম্যাগাজিনে নিয়মিত লেখালেখি করেন। ২০২২ সালে কলকাতা বইমেলায় "বন্ধ জানালার ওপারে" নামক শীর্ষ কাব্যগ্রন্থ প্রকাশিত হয়। পশ্চিম বঙ্গের বিভিন্ন সাহিত্য অনুষ্ঠানে সম্মানিত হন।

Theory about Poetry
Mr. Poet Euisu Byeon(卞義洙) is a Korean poet. He published his first poetry book, "The Distant City of Memories," in 1991. In February 1996, he began his official career as a poet with the publication of his works in "Modern Poetry Studies." Since then, he has been a leading figure in unconscious symbolism, with his second poetry book, "When the Moon Rises, Trees Have an Arched Chest," published in 2002, and his subsequent work on unconscious symbolism. He published his third book of poetry, a collection of long poems titled "The Symbolism of the Unconscious: Nature, Spirits, and Symbols," in 2008, followed by his fourth poetry book, "The Parrot in the Black Sun," as well as his first book of literary criticism, "Waiting for a Flock of Fantasies: The Symbolism of the Unconscious." He has also written a collection of essays on symbolism and symbols, titled "Symbols and Symbols, Invasion and Resistance." Since then, he has focused on "meta-semiotics," an extension of unconscious symbolism. He published his second and third books of literary criticism, "Artists Called by God" and "Schizophrenia and Poets," in 2009, as well as a book on art criticism titled "Understanding Seo Sang-hwan and Contemporary Art" in 2010. In 2013, he published "Seo Sang-hwan's Art Symbols: Meeting Park Sang-ryong's Novels and Byun Yi-soo's Poems," a book of art criticism. He also published "Convergence Studies: Symbolism" in two volumes in 2015, in which he presents "symbolism" as an independent emerging academic field. He led a joint poetry creation project in 2019 with Ju Won-ik, Kang Seo-yeon, Park Yi-young, Seo Sang-hwan, and Lee Chae-hyun, among others. In 2021, he founded and served as editor for the poetry magazine "Symbolism Research Institute."
Theory about Poetry
Ⅰ.
Poetry is something that happens as soon as you wake up from your sleep. It's like opening your eyes, walking on water, and throwing yourself into something.
Ⅱ.
Objects are round. Rocks are only folded. Poetry uses the front and back sides of the universe. Poetry conceals objects, but it also reveals them.
Lips are symbols of clouds. Objects that make up the shape of clouds are not hard. Rocks, like cats, are friendly. What is solemn is the lips.
Books are palaces of the lips. Lips decorate them with walls and ceilings adorned with elaborate patterns. They adorn the sanctuary with symbols of solemn characters.
Poetry is the act of reading silence. It is the act of seeing objects beyond the sacred lips. Like a scientist measuring the weight of an apple on the moon, poetry reads the form of substance from the substance of things.
To a grapevine, poetry is the sun.
Poetry is light. Poetry is also a cloud. Poetry is I and you. Poetry is both one and whole.
It is the tongue of the heavens that makes everything exist and disappear.
Ⅲ.
The moon exists within poetry. Poetry makes the moon ripple. It drenches the moon with rain. Poetry summons the howls of foxes and wolves to the moon.
Poetry is both magnetic force and gravity. Poetry is the product of mass and the square of the speed of light. Poetry transforms time into space and expands space into nothingness
So, poetry is also nothingness. Just because it is nothingness does not mean it lacks meaning. It simply cannot be touched or seen. Poetry is an endless universe, an invisible space and time.
A poet uses poetry as a lever. They condense and release all the mass and energy of the universe. Poetry is an equation and a wave. It is the source of universal gravitation, the force that keeps stars suspended in space.
Ⅳ.
Poetry possesses its own force, bringing together stars at great distances and keeping them in harmony. This is why every metaphor in poetry works, and why we are able to become mythical beings as we read it. Poetry is a branch and a dream, a stormy sea, and the reason why the poet must handle their soul with care.
Poetry is like droplets, here and there. It is not two separate things, but one physical space and entity. Kant made this point clear in his immortal work. There is no gap between two phenomena, in other words, there is no place to divide them (B 281). Oneness, truth, and goodness are the criteria and foundation of general knowledge of things (B 113).
Poetry is the space of the universe, an aggregation of indivisible substance and difficult forces. It is an invisible order and a world of fluctuating powers. Poetry exists here and there, occupying both this place and that place, because it is both physics and metaphysics. Therefore, the principle of 'identification,' which unites everything into one, is the fundamental principle and general rule of poetry. - "Symbolism of Convergence Studies," pp. 150 and below.
Poetry is both closed and open like the universe, and this is the reason for its existence.

একঘেয়ে আর বিরক্তিকর আকাশ
এ পার থেকে দেখছিলাম নরকের সমতুল্য শহরের ওপরে দুএক জায়গায় মেঘ
অসাড় মেঘ
এক ঝঞ্ঝার মৃত্যু পরবর্তী অবশ কুহেলিকা
মাল বোঝাই আর বিষণ্ণ জাহাজগুলো স্রোতের বিপরীতে বন্দরের কাছাকাছি এসে দাঁড়িয়েছে ঘন দৈর্ঘ্যে
আরও দূরে
যেন চিরকালের মতো গতিপথকে ঘুরিয়ে চলেছে দুটো ডানা
ভোরের যতগুলো কোণ সব ভোঁতা
যাতার মতো ঘুরছে
যেন সেকেন্ডের কাঁটার মধ্যে পিশে পিশে তছনছ হচ্ছে সময়
আর ছিটকে পড়ছে চারধারে
মানুষের গলা পাচ্ছি পাইপের ভেতর দিয়ে
তাদের দুএকটা মুখের আকৃতি গড়ে নিচ্ছি বন্ধুর মতো চিনবো বলে
গোটা একটা দিন হবে
প্রাঙ্গণে বাস্তবতাকে হত্যার মতো
আর এক মামুলি পিনে আটকে থাকবে কাটা মস্তকের মতো আমাদের জীবন
তোমাকে আমার বলার ফাঁকে যখন সন্ধ্যা নামবে
যখন চাঁদ থেকে বেরিয়ে এসে এক দল নৌকা ধাবিত হবে আরও দূরের চালাকির দিকে

কষ্ট কল্পিত মানুষ

গুনতে গুনতে পেরেকগুলো ঠেসে দেবো গালে
আর চামড়ার পাটাতন হবে আমাদের যাত্রা
প্রথম আমার মনে হয়েছিল আলপিন দিয়ে ঘষে ফেলতে পারবো সব পর্বতগুলোকে
আমি ভাবতাম আমার অশ্রু দিয়ে শুকিয়ে দিতে পারব সমুদ্র গুলো
কারণ কান্নার একটা জগৎ সংসারময় আকর্ষণ রয়েছে নক্ষত্র পর্যন্ত
নিঃসঙ্গ মানুষ
ড্রপার দিয়ে ফোঁটা ফোঁটা করে তোমার রক্ত গুনতে থাকো
যোগ বিয়োগ গুণ ভাগ করো
নিশ্চয়ই তুমি খুঁজে পাবে তোমার বন্ধু বান্ধব আত্মীয় স্বজন
কেউ না থাকুক তোমার ছায়া লম্বা লম্বা পায়ে হাঁটছে তোমার সাথেই
আর সেই ছায়ার ভেতর দিয়ে মাইলের পর মাইল হেঁটে চলেছে সারি সারি পিঁপড়ে
তারা খুঁজে বেড়াচ্ছে মৃত্যুর গজানো মাংসদলা
তুমি সেই কালো পোশাকটা পরো
যে পোশাকটা তৈরি করেছিল শুনতে পাবে তার অসাড় গান
যেহেতু পৃথিবী থেকে জীবন্ত ফেরেনি কেউই
তাই চলো তুমি আর আমি যাই এক অবশের মধ্য দিয়ে
সূর্যের আলোয় খোদাই করা কুমির গুলোর ধার দিয়ে
আমরা জলকে ঘষে ঘষে এত সূক্ষ্ম করবো যে
সমুদ্রকে দাঁড়ের মতো বিঁধিয়ে দেবো ইথারের গায়ে
তখন এক শিশু পুনরায় ককিয়ে উঠবে

Can pilaf be pilaf without brushes?
Maybe it seems strange from the outside,
But I can’t imagine swimming without hands.
This is one of the national characteristics of the Uzbeks,
Eating pilaf with your hands.
This is one of the attributes of eating this food,
Without which, eating pilaf is not complete.
Just before eating pilaf, you need to carefully
Wash your hands with soap.
This is part of the national culture of my people,
Since pilaf should first of all be felt with your hands before eating.
This is a kind of conversation with rice, using your hands,
This is a community of five fingers that are designed to feed you.

Save us God, Almighty Father.
Fasting is not hunger to eat.
It is liberation through Faith.

We are living and sacred beings.
May the Lord of Time and Life,
Accept our eternal devotion.

Mr. Lee, Hee Kuk is a Korean poet. He was born in Seoul, South Korea. He is a pharmacist and Adjunct Professor at the College of Pharmacy, The Catholic University of Korea. He is a member of the Executive Board of PEN Korean Center of PEN International. He is the president of the Ieodo Literature Association and a Vice president of the Korean Association of World Literature. He has published five poetry books and has won four literature awards.
Towards Peace
When hands join to draw a circle,
Peace comes.
Even the most fruitful result can be scattered by a gust of wind.
Even the vessel of my heart forged to withstand 1600 degrees of heat,
Once it screams its final cry,
It cannot be reversed.
That beautiful heart has lost all the touch of the neighboring wind and the resonance of space.
Something that should disappear after being kicked to the ground
Even if it cries day and night in the dusty wind,
A broken vessel cannot contain anything
Someone's greed
Tramples upon the wound of those unfulfilled,
And those wound gather, protruding like scars.
Even in that empty space, peaceful winds may dwell,
But within rigid boundaries, there hides a rough, bitterly howling wind.
Those who have, show consideration, extend your hand first.
Those seeking true peace,
Forgive, and love.
The morning sun, rising with everything in it

মোঃ ইজাজ আহামেদ
অরঙ্গাবাদ, মুর্শিদাবাদ, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ
নতুন চাঁদ দেখে মুসলিমরা একমাস রোজা রাখে
নতুন চাঁদ দেখে ঈদ উল ফিতর পালন করে;
এক মাস অপেক্ষার পরে
ঈদ খুশির জোয়ার নিয়ে আসে হৃদয়ে;
বাঁকা চাঁদ দেখে অনাবিল আনন্দের ঢেউ উঠে মনের সাগরে।
সন্ধ্যা থেকে সারা রাত কাটে কেনা কাটাকাটিতে,
ভিন্ন ভিন্ন মিষ্টান্ন তৈরিতে,
সকালের অপেক্ষাতে ঈদের উৎসবের আমেজে,
সোশ্যাল মিডিয়াতে বা ফোনকলে
একে অপরকে অগ্রিম ঈদ মোবারক জানাতে।
ঈদগাহে মিলিত হয়ে নামাজ পড়ার শেষে
সাক্ষাৎ ঘটে অনেকদিনের না দেখা চেহারাগুলোর সঙ্গে;
কোলাকুলি, হাত মেলামেলি করে
পুরোনো সখ্য নতুন করে জেগে উঠে;
এই দিনে মনমালিন্য, শত্রুতা ম্লান হয়ে

তুমি আর আমি দু'জনা
চলতে চলতে হঠাৎ করে
নুড়ির আঘাত।
পায়ে হোঁচোট খেলাম
আঙুল ফেটে রক্ত ঝরতে লাগল।
তুমি লতা-পাতা ও তোমার
শাড়ীর আঁচল ছিড়ে
আলতভাবে বেঁধে দিলে।
কিছু রক্ত ঝরল বললে তুমি-

A Tricky Test
Amar Singh
Life is just like a moving train
It can be stopped by pulling chain,
Every train runs to reach its destination,
Though different tracks with demarcation.
Speed varies from an express train to local
Some which run on fixed days are so special,
Destination can be covered in its way of running,
Each station gingerly prioritizes apt turning.
While dashing through the dense forest
It paves magical moments with a tricky test,
Without any signal it becomes fully paralyzed,
As life in obstruction or unwillingness often seized.
Sometimes it runs at great speed or in very low motion
An express train than a local train gets better promotion,
A goods train with long bogies runs without passengers,
Train journey is so enjoyable for the teenagers.
The largest number of people can travel
While life is an amazingly wonderful novel,
Reaching its destination with passengers duly,
The train acquires great popularity precisely.

She is ruthless ‘ n cold hearted woman
For the progeny who’s not hers.
She is unmoved by her step child’s tears.
Her words are not soothing but vexing for the child.
She keeps on repeating them until he goes wild.
Her gaze at him , has no affection in it but abhorrence.
She tries to beset him whenever she gets a chance.
She is not moved by his hunger, thirst or any other pain.
However hard he cries before her but in vain.
She feeds and comforts him at her own will
Only when she feels that she has tortured him well.
She abets her children against him.
He is thrown out of his home though he’s a gem.
Oh , for him, his home turns into hell.
How he is troubled there, is a long and painful story to tell.
Until he grows old, in vain, he waits for good days patiently.
In the end , he is forced to end his life by the ignorant
And unsympathetic People’s taunting
Oh, how mercilessly !

Alone in the middle of the night, it awakens to the light of my soul.
It opens its eyes, clinging to the last part of the emotions that reside in the dream.
I check it with my delicate fingers so that I can feel moments of consciousness.
If only it were a little slower or gave me a little more time to touch it as I desire,
I would have buttoned up the coat of dreams for him and prepared my heart for him with a kiss in its folds.
Sometimes, I feel attached to mental images of a beautiful dream.
In vain, I emerge from foggy gaps and manage to gather the details.
If only I could wake up with a scream to shake off the dust of sleep from me.
The middle of the night flows into my veins and embraces me tightly, causing dreams to fade away along with illusions.
The hands of time weave shivers in my body and consume remnants of light
and all shadows that were cast from darkness
aiming to plant seeds of darkness on the carpet of wind.
Occasionally, my hearing becomes slightly sensitive, causing the horses of my soul to wander through distances, frolicking with the moon.
A scream defies me, wiping away what remains in my sleepy eyes
and distracting me from counting star grains.
I forget about my shirt above the expanse of space and float among clouds.
The decoration of that grand dome enchants me with grains of light.
I gather kisses from magic under starlight and embrace the chest of night whenever midnight folds pages of separation.
I disappear during moments of consciousness and awaken in the slumber of dreams.
The harbors of days abandon me and my sails sway on ships controlled by fate.
My destiny fades away, disappearing behind dimensions of vision,
erasing cracks in darkness along with my details and weaknesses...

In the era of ignorance, it was heard
That they were often discarded.
Mothers would abandon them, and fathers would cast them away
To a distant place where deep wells would swallow their cries forever.
Even today, this tradition persists
In my country,
In remote, desolate regions,
Where the poison of poverty seeps through families.
When a little daughter dons a crimson dress,
She becomes invincible.
All her dreams remain tethered to her tiny feet,
But alas, her laughter never returns.

Biography
Parvinder is born and brought up in the coastal city of Mombasa, Kenya, East Africa.
Having dedicated her career to shaping the minds of future generations as a principal from distinguished senior secondary schools in India.
Parvinder is a national award winner from NCERT, New Delhi, for making teaching and learning process more easier through the classroom aids for both the teachers and pupils.
Parvinder’s poetic journey begins with a great inspiration from her visit to the museum and Dove cottage a residence of vulnerable poet William Wordsworth in Grasmere, Lake District, UK.
Her passion for poetry found recognition when she was bestowed with the prestigious accolades in a national poetry contest orchestrated among a gathering of over 2000 poets from across India on the national level.
She is recipient of many literary awards in poetry. Her poems are translated in various languages and are music of the heart that express different aspects of life, conjure up emotions from happiness to sadness using different styles and themes giving pleasure to the readers.

In Search of Persuasion
Awkward by taciturn memories
Premise repeated every morning
Where from afar with deception
Your hand reached mine
While my happy heart smiled
Believing in the sweet breeze of love
In that magical infinity of the sea
Today in a storm equal to life
As well as my lacerated soul
Swan lying on the rocks
Where the roar of the waves throws it further
Elsewhere in a troubled world,
Haunted by a past that no longer exists
Maybe it never existed
Preterite in the trap of your eyes
Of your lips that emitted
Endless Words
Cheating candid, true feelings
Knowing the harm you were doing
Suppressing our oath
Everlasting Covenant
Today a spectre in oblivion.
THE APOTHEOSIS OF BEELZEBUB
Silently the devil rules the world
From hell the tentacles extends.
Like a vampire
thirsty blood sucks continuously
He becomes livid with those who are helpless.
In the storms of life he howls with anger
With furious burning fire he destroys
Humans still in the womb
And on the throne of glorious power he sits.
Other Orders Invent Poison by Tasting
From the chalice full of tears of humanity
The bastion with a thud towards the sky rises
He is now the only God.
In the valleys, the flowers dry up
Pollen and honey turn into gall
The mountains are moving,
Every stone no longer finds peace.
To the blood rivers only the mud remains
It turns the whole earth and planets upside down
But the demon is still thirsty
With lust the weather postulates
And it never dies.
Tentacles everywhere in space expands
The misfortune of fate sprouts in them
Over mutilated skulls he tramples
And it is reborn every time Innocence dies.
THE LIGHT OF SURVIVAL
The Light of Hope shines on the beloved
land furrowed by wounded edges where
the poverty lives naked.
There are undressed ladies
with wide open eyes
on the sidewalks full of corpses
with anxiety is fed inside the garbage
with rotting food like stale bread crumbs as if they are for stray dogs.
But the Light of Hope triumphs it travels around the world on the paths where poor and sick people pass.
It's passes there like a torchlight procession to tell the beloved Earth to stops suffering.
It fed the poor in abundance
with the light of hope.
The oceanic light emerges and fills the cracks in the souls of the sick,
wherever are there.
By embracing the light,
everyone recovers from the evils of the century:
Diseases and Poverty!

Kang Byeong-Cheol (writer, poet, translator, PhD in Political Science).
Kang Byeong-Cheol is a Korean authors and poet. Born in Jeju city of South Korea in 1964. He started writing in 1993, publishing his first short story, “Song of Shuba,” at the age of twenty-nine.
He published a collection of short stories in 2005. He won 4 Literature awards and published more than 8 books.
He was a member of The Writers in Prison Committee (WiPC) of PEN International (2009-2014).
