ON THE HOME AT NIGHT

On the veranda at night are the honeymoon days for a pair of butterflies, while in your sore eyes they just disappear and become rain to wet the dry leaves. 

 

You were so shaken when a pinch of mist asked you to meet the waves, you even asked "forget everything, then let the tempest be an echo on the verandah at night". 

 

But what about that thing, where you often ask the wind to tear it apart. 

 

Oh, it turns out you're not the woman I like to hang out with at night.

A stuffy city, a flock of sheep is ambushed by wolves, the glory of a dream is lost and then just destroyed Who came at that time? carrying a sword then tells about the past, then the city became paralyzed. 

 

Really "I" is shaking so much during city holidays its charm is filled with greetings even the bonds of promise, except for a wisp of mist sprinkled with the kiss of the light of night and day. 

 

Yes, the city is old likes to reminisce about his teenage years, and now he is just the most loyal visitor in my memories.

About Edy Samudra Kertagama:

As a poet and director. Invited to National and International literary-theatre meetings. Since 1979, he has directed 123 theatrical performance scripts by both Indonesian and foreign authors with Germ Theater Studies. He has been invited to various literary meetings including: 1. Archipelago Poet Meeting and Party took place at the Council Language and Library, Kuala Lumpur and Rumah PENA Kuala Lumpur in 2009. 2016 International Literature Seminar at Gajah Mada University Apart from writing poetry, essays, pantuns and stage scripts, Edy Samudra Kertagama is also known as a theater director and actor, he has conducted explorations and various performances with the Kumannya theater which was founded in 1979.
