Health!

Early in the morning
The man runs to build his muscles
And keeps his health.
Early in the morning
The woman runs to make
The flowers bloom
And nature keeps it health!

LIVE SIMPLE

Live simple
Like fishermen
Like port workers
Like porters in the markets
Like street vendors
Like cleaning workers
Like a farmer who takes care of the seedlings of his field
Just as a father takes care of his children.

Live simple
Like textile workers
Like housewives
Like nurses
Like village women
Like mothers who wash, clean, cook
And prepare the dining table with great love.

Live simple
Like the morning breeze
Like a drop of dew
Like a daisy in a green field
Like a piece of cloud
Like a pure spring
Like a stream of clear water
Like a rose bud
Like a wild daffodil.

Live simple
Like an ant embracing a grain of wheat
Like a bee satisfied with the nectar of flowers
Like a colorful butterfly that brings the soul to life
Like a firefly that drives away the darkness
Like a bird building its nest on the tree of life.

Live simple, my friend
And always be on the side of the simple people.

THE RIVER

Oh river
Oh, my dear friend
I come to you
I come humbled and in love.
I open my arms wide and embrace you
I embrace your serenity
Calmness and purity of happiness.
I embrace your flow,
Your hustle and the roar of your depths.
I embrace your foam
Your waves
And the mist flying from the veins of your heart.

Oh river
Oh, my dear friend
I know how much
You have quenched
The thirst of our lives
Our thirsty veins and our parched lips
The thirst of our cracked land
And our thirsty fields.
Oh river
Oh, my dear friend
I know how much you healed our wounds
And our tortured souls.
How much you have patted our backs in adversity
And relieved us of the heavy burden of life.

Oh river
Oh, my dear friend
Oh, friend of poor fishermen´s hooks
Oh, brother of men,
Women and children.
Oh, patron saint of swans
Geese, ducks and their ducklings.
I come to you to be freed from
The deposits of anguish and gloom
To quench the inflammation of this prolonged grief
To wash away my repeated sins
To be a child again and again
And be baptized with your water.
Oh river
What reassurance you send in the soul?
What peace and quiet?
What joy?
What happiness?
Go river
Go my dear friend
And sweep with you
Straw
Dryness
Thirst
And tumours that hurt the body of the earth.
Go my friend!
I will always love you
We will love you forever.
