Right path

As I move forward in Life
There are many  paths to choose,
Some treacherous and risky.
Taking each step forward is an ordeal
Hazy and blurred is the picture seen,
Know not what lays ahead,
Inspite of the difficulty and insecurity,
My heart says everything will be alright.
For I know at every step God is with me,
With deep faith I follow your footsteps
Oh Lord,
At times I may fall down  but you give me strength to rise again,
Hurdles and blockages are part of everyone"s journey.
Hardly anyone gets a smooth sailing venture,
Tough instances makes us strong and resilient,
Your steps may not be visible to me,
But you guide me in my walk of Life.
As I follow your footsteps, my feet do not falter
I am able to forge ahead with your support.

Anupama Kadwad is a multilingual poet from Mumbai, India who writes in English, Hindi and Marathi languages.
