TWILIGHT

If the twilight feels like it's walking like zombie towards us

Then the sun feels older and powerless looking for a shadow hidden among the colors

Can we still keep the dream that neatly encircles our present journey

Or is it just a story about the twilight that once fell in love

Or the sadness just sending the loneliness?

Twilight was no longer awaited

And the sun is not a glowing ball spewing disappointment

Because it was tired

Truly tired

It was reluctant to look for a colored shadow in twilight

If the twilight was a weapon against the wounds that walk like zombie towards us

Then should we give up ?

By getting rid of a dream that is as beautiful as a hymn in the holy bible

He who strengthens the soul tired of conflict and freedom of the heart

Finally the twilight must run, not crawl anymore.....

গোধূলি

রিনি ভ্যালেনটিনা

গোধূলি যদি মনে হয় যে এটি আমাদের দিকে জম্বির মতো হাঁটছে

তখন সূর্যকে বয়স্ক এবং শক্তিহীন মনে হয় রঙের মধ্যে লুকিয়ে থাকা ছায়া খুঁজে

আমরা কি এখনও সেই স্বপ্নকে ধরে রাখতে পারি যা আমাদের বর্তমান যাত্রাকে সুন্দরভাবে ঘিরে রেখেছে

নাকি একসময় প্রেমে পড়ে যাওয়া গোধূলির গল্প

নাকি দুঃখ শুধুই নিঃসঙ্গতা পাঠাচ্ছে?

গোধূলির আর অপেক্ষা ছিল না

এবং সূর্য একটি প্রদীপ্ত বল নয় বমন করা হতাশা

কারণ এটি ক্লান্ত ছিল

সত্যিই ক্লান্ত

গোধূলিতে রঙিন ছায়া খুঁজতে অসম্মত

গোধূলি যদি ক্ষতগুলির বিরুদ্ধে একটি অস্ত্র হত যা আমাদের দিকে জম্বির মতো যায় হেঁটে

তাহলে কি আমাদের দেওয়া উচিত ছেড়ে ?

পবিত্র বাইবেলের স্তোত্রের মতো সুন্দর স্বপ্ন থেকে মুক্তি পাওয়ার দ্বারা

তিনি যিনি শক্তিশালী করেন দ্বন্দ্ব এবং হৃদয়ের স্বাধীনতায় ক্লান্ত আত্মাকে

অবশেষে গোধূলিকে ছুটতে হবে, আর হামাগুড়ি দিতে হবে না.....

Love in the Autumn Leaves

My thoughts of you are strongest during the autumn season.

During the leaf’s descent,

It’s the sign that my heart is falling.

More,

And more,

For you, my dear,

When the leaves disintegrate and,

Wither away,

In the winter,

Among all,

Our nights together, filled with icy coldness.

My dear,

Love is perpetually in the air.

All year around,

But it is the sweet,

Macaroon, fawn,

And chocolate- cinnamon,

Along with crocodile,

And Seafoam green.

Irrespective of the time of year,

There is always “Love in the Autumn Leaves.”

Poem - Missing the Sky

Missing the Sky

The clouds sway
Water falls on the road
While missing the sky
Falling in the morning.

Is there someone
Watching over the night?
When everyone has returned
To note silence
There are thousands of echoes
Has been scratched by bird flaps
Which suddenly came
From the sprawling landscape.

And I ask you
Forget the barren skies
So that the fire in the eyes
It's not in vain that we keep it
Forever.

Poem - The Philosophy of the Eyes

The philosophy of the eyes

Scholars are searching, travelers are wandering,

World secrets are always a mystery.

Longing for thousands of years,

Finally, the poet found fancy eyes!

I'm glad those eyes are mine,

The poet knew him as a deep ocean,

He placed the earth and the sky in it,

Seeing justice, mercy in my eyes!

Elena's angelic beauty,

By the trickery of the hypocrite's eye,

She tamed Achilles with charm,

Destroyed Troy before her eyes!

Every word, conversation has its own meaning,

Secret glances have their touch,

The eyes have both healing and suffering,

The poet sees heaven in my eyes!

He is a man of the philosophical world.

Parvanah is in love, the candle burns alone.

He strongly believes in unattainable love.

It deserves respect in my eyes!

অবশেষে কবি পেয়েছিল অভিনব চোখ!

আমি খুশি যে চোখগুলো আমার,

কবি তাকে অগাধ সাগর বলে চিনে,

সে তাতে স্থাপন করেছিল চরাচর ও অম্বর

বিচার , করুণা আমার চোখে দেখে!

এলেনার দেবদূত সৌন্দর্য,

ভণ্ডের চোখের চাতুরী দ্বারা,

তিনি অ্যাকিলিসকে মুগ্ধতার সাথে বশে এনেছিল,

তার চোখের সামনে ট্রয় ধ্বংস করেছিল!

প্রতিটি শব্দ, কথোপকথনের নিজস্ব অর্থ আছে,

গোপন দৃষ্টিদের স্পর্শ আছে,

চোখের নিরাময় এবং কষ্ট উভয়ই আছে,

কবি আমার চোখে স্বর্গ দেখে!

I lost my insight

When I had a miscarriage

The sadness deepens
Inside my body
When you betray me
Sense of touch
I feel like a failure every time
I struggle alone
And I have no shadow
Moving on
The walls of my room
It reminds me a whisper of nostalgia
I conceal what is inside me
And I don't complain for a while
The Lord of pain squeezes me
He stands like an executioner
On my shoulders to defeat me
At that time, he shook off
The dust of my ribs
And I will come back to stand by myself, resisting...
When I refuse to surrender
I am afraid of leaving
I am afraid to leave a message
And I have lost my address
To my home and country ......
My homeland is a tragedy
That some weak souls cannot comprehend.

About the Poet:

GERMAIN DROOGENBROODT is an internationally known poet, yearly invited at the most prestigious international poetry festivals. He is also translator, publisher and promoter of modern international poetry. He wrote short stories and literary reviews, but mainly poetry, so far 17 poetry books, published in 31 countries, honoured with dozens of international poetry awards. As founder of the Belgian publishing house POINT Editions he published eighty collections of mainly modern, international poetry and organised and co-organised several international poetry festivals in Spain. He also set up the internationally greatly appreciated project Poetry without Borders, publishing twice a month a modern poem from all over the world in more than 30 languages. Germain Droogenbroodt visited countless times the Far East which left deep traces in his philosophical poetry. The Chinese pretend his poetry is Taoist and ZEN. About the Poet:

GERMAIN DROOGENBROODT is an internationally known poet, yearly invited at the most prestigious international poetry festivals. He is also translator, publisher and promoter of modern international poetry. He wrote short stories and literary reviews, but mainly poetry, so far 17 poetry books, published in 31 countries, honoured with dozens of international poetry awards. As founder of the Belgian publishing house POINT Editions he published eighty collections of mainly modern, international poetry and organised and co-organised several international poetry festivals in Spain. He also set up the internationally greatly appreciated project Poetry without Borders, publishing twice a month a modern poem from all over the world in more than 30 languages. Germain Droogenbroodt visited countless times the Far East which left deep traces in his philosophical poetry. The Chinese pretend his poetry is Taoist and ZEN. The Indian publisher Thachom Poyil Rajeevan compared his poetry with the poetry of Rabindranath Tagore. Germain Droogenbroodt has been recommended in 2017 for the Nobel Prize of Literature.

POEM - WHY DO I DO ?

WHY DO I DO ?

I do wrong though my eyes can see .

I am greedy though all need equally.

My pains I never bear ,

When others wail , I act as if I didn’t hear .

Though I see others famished , I take a spicy dish .

Even to give them my remaining eats , I never wish.

I put on expensive raiments for ostentation,

Though I see others in rags in each season.

There is no humanity, I always say

Myself I live as if a blind and deaf , each day .

আমি কেন করি?

আমি ভুল করি যদিও আমার চোখ দেখতে পায়।

আমি লোভী যদিও সকলের সমানভাবে প্রয়োজন হয়।

আমার বেদনা আমি কখনো করি না সহ্য,

যখন অন্যরা কাঁদে, আমি এমনভাবে কাজ করি আমি শুনিনি যেন।

যদিও আমি অন্যদের ক্ষুধার্ত দেখি, তবুও আমি মশলাদার খাবার খাই।

এমনকি আমার অবশিষ্ট খাবারও তাদের দিতে আমি কখনও না চাই।

আমি দম্ভের জন্য দামী পোশাক পরি।

যদিও আমি প্রতিটি ঋতুতে অন্যদের ছেঁড়া পোষাকে দেখি।

মানবতা নেই, আমি সবসময় বলি

নিজেকে প্রতিদিন যেন একজন অন্ধ ও বধির হয়ে আমি বাঁচি ।

Words drip

From her pen

Like blood drips

From her wound

Guzzling of red ink

Staining of the sheets

Recollections and reminiscences

Fill up the bin

White pages with clots of shrivelled red

All smell of poetry in human skin

I Flow Like A River

I am cheerful ever and flow like a river

Readily accepting all in sun and shower

I carve my own path, I am strong

I'm open to all who ever come along

My path is long, and my journey unsung

Alone though, I'm attuned to sing my song

BIO-NOTE:

Dr. Prafulla Kumar Panda, MA, M.Phi., Ph.D (b. 1978..) A teacher by profession and a poet by passion, Dr. Panda's poetic trajectory traverses across human life, society and beyond. His wide range of verses delve into intricacies of human relationship diving in its myriad shades of love, passion, emotion, mortality and death. At times he becomes otherworldly when he takes his readers on a poetic flight into the cosmic world of Nature and sketches a picturesque portrayal of its beauty and bounty. Exploration of socio- cultural and political avenues is yet another hallmark of his poetry. Like a mystic he never fails to surprise by blending the concrete with the abstract, the near with the far and the material with the spiritual.

For Dr. Panda , poetry is not merely a tapestry of letters but each word is a microcosm of the whole that opens the windows of eternal bliss and contentment. That poetry must be moulded in purest and sincere emotions and poetic sensibility in divine nature constitutes his poetic spirit. His poetry celebrates both free and rhymed verse though the later often dominates the poetic structure. His preferred genre is Tercinnet ( 4- three lined verse followed by a couplet while rhyming together or alternatively).

Dr Panda is a widely published poet. His poems have been published in various national and international anthologies, magazines and online platforms and translated to other languages too. He has published a collection of poetry named “Bounty of Silence: Verses Unveiling the Songs of Soul”, and edited an inter-continental anthology “Beyond the Horizon”. He is the Recipient of 'Dr B. R. Ambedkar Lifetime Achievement Award'; 'Golden Pen Award 2023' & 'The Ambassador of Peace' from Global Writers Academy; 'The Christmas Literary Honours 2023' from Motivational Strips; 'Outstanding Poet of the Year 2023' from The Temple of Impeccable Writers; and 'The Poet of the Year 2023 & 2024' from The International Poetry and 'The Poet of the Year 2023' from African Poetry Giant. FIREFLIES

Brenda Mohammed (Trinidad and Tobago)

Fireflies glow wherever they go.

They light the world up all aglow.

One reason is to attract mates easily.

Each firefly species lights uniquely.

Are these lovely insects going extinct?

Light pollution is a threat to them.

Even pesticides can harm them.

Fireflies are known as lightning bugs,

They’re one of the most cherished insects,

With beautiful flickering light displays,

On summer evenings they show their rays.

They’ve been around for millions of years.

They brighten your life and dry your tears.

For some, fireflies represent self-illumination,

Even positivity, simplicity and attraction.

Seeing a firefly could be a good omen.

For little things in life show appreciation.

Let us save fireflies from extinction.

Stop the use of pesticides and light pollution.

জোনাকিরা

জোনাকিরা যেখানেই যায় সেখানে জ্বলজ্বল করে।

তারা সারা বিশ্বকে আলোকিত করে।

একটি কারণ হল সহজেই সঙ্গীদের করা আকৃষ্ট।

প্রতিটি জোনাকি প্রজাতি অনন্যভাবে দেয় আলো ।

এই সুন্দর পোকামাকড় কি লুপ্ত হয়ে যাচ্ছে?

আলো দূষণ হুমকিস্বরূপ তাদের তরে।

এমনকি কীটনাশকও তাদের ক্ষতি করতে পারে।

জোনাকিরা বিদুৎ বাগ নামে পরিচিত,

তারা সবচেয়ে লালিত পোকামাকড়ের মধ্যে অন্যতম,

সুন্দর ঝিকিমিকি আলো প্রদর্শনের সহিত,

গ্রীষ্মের সন্ধ্যায় তারা তাদের রশ্মি করে জাহির।

তারা আছে লক্ষ লক্ষ বছর ধরে ।

তারা তোমার জীবনকে উজ্জ্বল করে এবং তোমার চোখের জল শুষ্ক করে।

কারো কারো জন্য, জোনাকিরা স্ব-আলোকিত হওয়ার করে প্রতিনিধিত্ব,

এমনকি ইতিবাচকতা, সরলতা এবং মনোহারিত্ব।

একটি জোনাকি দেখা একটি হতে পারে শুভ লক্ষণ ।

জীবনের ছোট ছোট জিনিসের জন্য দেখাও রসাস্বাদন।

এসো আমরা ঠেকাই জোনাকিদের বিলোপসাধন।

বন্ধ করো কীটনাশকের ব্যবহার এবং আলো দূষণ ।
