Francesca Gallello G.I.N. Gòmez wrote her first novel at the age of just 9. A poet, writer, screenwriter, literary critic, columnist, publisher, and Italian cultural promoter, she is the author of numerous novels with social and historical themes, as well as several poetry collections. Her poetic style, defined as “gallelliano” by scholars who follow its evolution, is appreciated and translated into more than ten languages.

She has collaborated with various authors and directs SATURNO Magazine, a publication dedicated to art, culture, and society, offering space to writers and artists from around the world. She is also the founder of the historical-cultural association RADICI, created with the aim of uncovering often-silenced historical truths about the Italian Risorgimento.

She was the first woman in Calabria to found and direct a publishing house, Veliero aps, and she organizes numerous cultural events in Italy and abroad. Her social commitment extends to the fight against violence toward women and children, as well as volunteering in a juvenile detention center, where she leads theater and creative writing workshops.

Throughout her career, she has received numerous national and international awards and honors. She was named among the 20 most respected journalists for her commitment to promoting peace and strengthening intercultural dialogue, a title awarded by the prestigious international magazine LEGACY CROWN CORPORATION (Philippines). Furthermore, the newspaper ALROWAD NEWS (Cairo, Egypt) included her among the 100 most influential literary and artistic figures of 2024. For her dedication to culture and human rights, she was awarded the title of Ambassador of Peace by the World Literary Forum for Peace and Human Rights (USA) and the Universal Peace Federation (Albania–Italy).

With dimmed eyes, blind to hope, the heart beats to the rhythm of bombs and weapons. I wish — by some magic — to stop this mad world, to step off, and take with me all the broken hearts, the trembling souls, the weeping mothers, the hungry children.

My hands, in prayer, tremble, soaked in silent tears. Where has the divine dream of peace and brotherhood gone? Where are the children’s smiles — the real ones, the ones that light up the sky?

I wish I could find them again, gather them one by one, and place them in their tired eyes, to see — at last — tears, yes, but only tears of joy.

Where No Hands Are Clasped

Love me like the wind loves the leaf, lifting it gently, but never holding it. Be like the morning sun: it gives its light without asking if anyone awaits it.

Let me be neither yours nor mine, but ours — like the earth belongs to those who till it and to the sky that blesses it.

Do not seek me when you are thirsty, but come to me when your heart has learned to drink from its own silence.

Because love that begs is slavery dressed in white, and love that commands is a storm that believes itself a spring.

Love me as one loves a distant song: without trying to grasp it, only for the joy of hearing it pass by — yes, that is how I want you to love me.

May it be the light of hope that guides us

And may love be the path that leads us forward

And may peace be what envelops us in a sincere embrace.

May each person, with their own hope, be the seed

VIOLIN

A whisper ran from the wings,

Silence suddenly reigned in the hall,

And the wine sparkle in the glass,

When the artist come on stage.

And the soul took off, as in a dream,

My senses were can dancing,

The sounds of the violin were kissing everyone there,

And they drowned deceptively in wine.

Violin, you are my soul's tenderness,

Crying like a sinful eternity,

Moaning, until the aorta ruptures,

Hiding wild pride in the sounds.

Ah, Maestro! What a virtuoso!

This half - moon world has inspired,

Suddenly touched my soul strings

Subtle sensual sound is a symbiosis.

Inhale and exhale from the violin flew,

Hastily melted away, as if under clouds,

And he fluttered in the air like moths,

A new wave gave birth to sounds again.

And from the strings, like a violin soul,

Getting naked, so caressed with a sound,

She whispered a confession in my ear,

Oh, how good that music is!

Or sounded under the bow a moment of longing,

The sound was carried in a train and wandered around the hall,

Burned the hearts of music, like fire,

Turning an embrace into a vice.

BLUES MUSIC

Ah... Amber blues music!

As if she touched heart with a wing,

Either a Russian or a Frenchman,

Pouring wine through his veins.

And the soul is already ready to get drunk,

Dissolving in a glass of intoxicating,

Enjoy this blues sobbing,

And wake up in Paris at night.

The subtle spirit of croissants is curling,

And the fragrance floats over the Seine,

Here - gypsies are guessing daisies

And a masquerade sunset is dancing.

Second - hand booksellers' shops are colored

They give out their prologue for show,

And above, how are the most alive,

Sparrows and hubbub, as a result.

And those living monists are scurrying around:

Flock up, a hooligan sparrow

Himself on the wings - a parachutist,

Wriggling is a living talisman.

Pulls the tentacles of a jellyfish,

Raised an eyebrow in amazement,

That amber blues music,

Like wine that excites our blood.

And such bliss is hovering,

And the soul is like a lazy eagle,

He no longer dreams of anything else,

Only he would find himself again.

SIMPLE SCIENCE

Do not harbor evil in yourself, do not envy others,

Flattery and envy are bad friends in life,

The whole science is simple, just look at it differently,

The most terrible enemy is in you! If you win, you will become king!

You're not the money to be endlessly loved by everyone,

If you have chosen a goal, then go to it, regardless of all the enemies!

Explaining your actions is too careless,

If you stop, you can get into someone else's temple.

Communicate with your enemies - there will be a huge benefit,

Only from them you will easily learn about yourself,

What is hidden from the eyes and from thoughts is not modest,

You will have to go through fire, water and copper pipes.

Don't ask! Do not expect mercy - there will be no miracle!

Control everything yourself, you are the master of fate!

Be in harmony with yourself, you will get a moment of victory

Only in battle! Just know that the reefs of life are harsh.

Poem - My Faith

My Faith

Who am I " the man who stood up more than he fell on his knees.

And when they thought I would stay on earth, God raised me up.

Not the psalms" not the temples are the house of God.

The love that comes from my soul is the good will that is humanity.

And there is infinite love across the worlds and beyond.

Who wears a mask despite his difficulties "" is not a pure mirror of the soul"" shows a false mirror to the world.

I am always myself and I am very proud of that.

Neither anger nor wrath is my way " and goodness is love the pure light of my heart is the word of God" and I don't have to testify he sees me.

And he knows words are just words my actions are all true.

You never have to apologize to me " God will hear you he is the steward of truth.

Poem - Light Came

Light Came

Tapan Roy

In the middle of the way

I had to stop.

For the darkness suddenly

stood in my way,

I was surprised for coming

the darkness as this was not

the time of its coming.

There was no street light even any type of light,

even the moon fled away

being afraid of the darkness.

After sometimes I started

going ahead ...

at that time light came and

the darkness was defeated .

Sitting on a chair behind the window the first thing that came to her mind was a blank sheet lying on the table.

She didn't write much let alone a story that felt like just an echo.

"Laila, don't let the rose wither in your hand" let alone fade its redness, because your smile is an ember that is always on your face.

So don't let your journey diminish, even though it will become nostalgia later.

POEM - SEDIMENT OF EXISTENCE

Those times when I was steadfast

Now they seem to have suddenly disappeared

Because it seems to me that spring is coming

Much earlier than it seems

Sedimentation of existence in terms of a smile

Which I tell people every day

I make myself impossible in that field

Because I strive to be the best version of myself

The sediment of existence in my heart

Which never stopped blooming

There are still hopes in the bottom of the soul

Which must not disappear suddenly

I'm still smiling and raising my hands to the Sun

Because that's the only thing left for me

My heart became untouchable

Because of some who do not see good in me

But I still hope for something better

Because that which is better comes into its own

Just a smile is enough for me

Ada Rizzo was born in Sicily (Italy) in 1960. She is writer, poet, translator, counselor, amateur journalist, volunteer in Kenya.

I open my eyes

peace is still locked away in the drawer of dreams

It dwells in the inner universe of each one,

a heavy cocoon, it cannot become a butterfly,

it struggles to fly beyond words and futile wars

It wishes to rest between the eyelashes of a child to lull him into serene sleep

It longs to transform every mortar blast

into a symphony of life

that resonates in the silence of our souls

Long is the journey of peace,

fraught with pitfalls,

walls to break down,

bridges of courage to build,

to traverse together, step by step.

Let each of us become the creator of a work of art,

হুমায়রা সুলতানা হিমি

শ্রাবণের এই অবেলায়,

কে যে এল অসময়!

ঘন কালো মেঘের ছায়ায়,

দ্রুতি সম্পূর্ণ বৃষ্টির ফোটায়।

আকাশ জোড়া শ্রাবণের মেঘ,

রংধনু তার বিষন্নতা।

অঝড়ে নামবে বুঝি, ঝড়াবে ব্যকুলতায়।

আজ মন আবেগী হয়ে,

ছুটে চলে তারই ধারে।

বাগানের মিষ্টি কদমফুলে,

করোনার পৃথিবী

এই তো সবাই ভালো ছিল,

পৃথিবী ছিল সুন্দর ।

হঠাৎ করে কি যে হলো,

বদলে গেলো সব।

কৃষক নেই কৃষি কাজে,

রাত দিন টেনশন...

এখন আর তাঁতি বুনে না কাপড়,

কামার - কুমার তৈরি করে না লৌহা, পুতুল।

এখন আর খেলার মাঠে নেই কোনো ব্যাট-বল

সবই এখন প্যাকেট করা পুরো বাড়ি -ঘর।

বাজার আর মিলে না বাজারের মতো,

বড় বড় জাহাজ গুলো রয়েছে আটক।

ব্যাংক না খুলে কেউ তারা এখন আটিএম ভুত,

ছোটো ছোটো শিশু ছেলে মেয়ে যারা,

বাবা- মাকে কাছে পেয়ে খুশি আজ তারা।

কেউ না পা দেয় বিদেশ ভ্রমণ,

এখন বিমানবন্দর সবই বন্ধ।

সবাই যখন বাড়ি বসে হচ্ছে বোর,

কেউ তখন গান গায়, কেউবা লিখে কবিতা

কেউ শিখে রান্নাবান্না, কেউবা দেখে মুভি।

সচেতনতার বাণীতে সারদিন সশস্রবাহিনী,

চারদিকে যখন মৃত্যুর মিছিল,

তখন সেবায় নিয়োজিত ডাক্তার -নাসিং।

প্রতিদিনই আপডেট হয় খবর,

এক যলক দেখার জন্য অপেক্ষা করে হাজারো মানুষ....

নেই ঘুম, নেই কাজ, এই হলো করোনার পৃথিবী।

তুমি কি ঈশ্বর চন্দ্র বিদ্যাসাগর নাকি অন্য কেউ!

তুমি কি স্বাধীন বাংলার সার্বভৌম নাগরিক,

নাকি তুমি কোনো নামি-দামি রাজনৈতিক নেতা?

কিসের এতো গুন তোমার,

তুমি কি আবিষ্কারক নাকি এক সেবক!

কিসের এতো অহংকার তোমার,

তুমি কি আরব দুলাল,

নাকি কোনো এক অদৃশ্য শয়তান?

তোমার কি এমন ক্ষমতা,

তুমি কি অনেক কিছুর মালিক?

নাকি তা আর কিছুই না!

তুমি কি এক অসাধারণ মানুষ!

প্রয়োগ করে দেখাতে পারো অনেক কিছু?

কী গর্বে -গৌরবে রয়েছো তুমি,

কোনো ইমাম নাকি পুরোহিত, ঋষি-বামুন।

নাকি কোনো শিরে চূর্ণ মেঘ!

তুমি কি আসলেই জলবিন্দু,বিশ্বমূলে অনু

স্বরূপ তোমার নিত্য অভিনব।

তুমি কি ভাই বীর?

চলতে পারো বিদ্যুৎ -মোহন।

জ্বলতে পারো ঔ নীল আকাশের তারার মতোন!

তুমি কি জ্ঞানের আলোয়,

হতে পারো না আলোকিত।

নাকি পুষ্প নিবাসনের মতো কাটো সারাক্ষণ!

তুমি কি শীতের কুয়াশার সেই চাদর,

যা পরে থাকা যায় অবিরম?

তুমি কি কোনো এক রাজ্যর রাজা,

আসে কি তোমার এক পঙ্ নখির ঘোড়া?

তুমি কি শঙখমালার সেই রূপ?

যার অপেক্ষা করে আছে নবীন-প্রবীণ মুখ ।

তুমি কি বিশালক্ষীর মতো দিতে পারো বর!

নাকি আজও কেড়ে নিতে এসেছো সব।

তুমি কি বিষাদময় রিক্ততার সুর,

প্রতীকায় বসে আছো সারাক্ষন।

এতো কিছুর পরও তো বলোনা,

আসলে কে তুমি ভাই?

কিভাবে বাঁচবে পৃথিবী!

উল্ট -পাল্ট যেসব।

বাঁচাও! বাঁচাও!বাঁচাও!

সহেনা আর এইসব কমর্কান্ড

দিকে দিকে বাড়ছে যে কোলাহল।

সবাই যখন নিজের বুঝে,

ঠিক তখনি বাড়ছে এক মহানারী

চোখে তার প্রতিশোধের নেশা,

মুখের ধোঁয়ায় যেন আগুন জ্বলা ।

তবুও চারপাশ যখন অস্থির,

কেউ না চিনে মানুষ।

সবাই নিঃস, বিস্তৃত হয়ে পড়ে।

ঠিক তখনি জাগ্রত হয় সেই মহানারী

সেখানে মানুষের সবটুকু ঠকিয়ে,

জীবনকে করে তুলে বিষের মতো,

যখন চারদিক করে হাহাকার!

ঠিক তখনি জাগ্রত হয় সেই মহানারী।

লেখক পরিচিতি: হুমায়রা সুলতানা হিমি ২০০২ সালে ৫ই আগস্ট মানিকগঞ্জ জেলার সিংগাইর উপজেলার পূর্ব ভাকুম গ্রামে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তিনি রাজদিয়া অভয় পাইলট উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় থেকে বিজ্ঞান বিভাগ হতে ম্যাট্রিক এবং শ্রীনগর সরকারি কলেজ থেকে বিজ্ঞান বিভাগ হতে ইন্টারমিডিয়েট পাশ করেন।

তিনি সিটি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে ইংরেজি নিয়ে বি.এ(অনার্স) স্নাতক ডিগ্রী লাভ করেন। বর্তমানে তিনি প্রেসিডেন্সি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে এম. এ. ইন ইএলটি নিয়ে মাস্টার্সে অধ্যায়নরত আছে

ন। কলেজ জীবন হতেই তিনি সাহিত্যচর্চা শুরু করেন। বাস্তব জীবন ও আধুনিক জীবনচেতনা তার কবিতায় ফুটে উঠেছে। তিনি কলেজ জীবনে স্বরচিত কবিতা লিখে কয়েকটি পুরস্কারও পেয়েছেন।

জঙ্গিপুর, ৯ জুলাই ২০২৫: আজ ৯ জুলাই চলে গেলেন না ফেরার দেশে মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলার জঙ্গিপুরের গোফুরপুর বরজের বিশিষ্ট কবি ও কথাসাহিত্যিক এসএম নিজামউদ্দিন। গত পরশু থেকে অসুস্থতায় ভুগতে থাকেন। আজ বিকেল ৪.২৫ নাগাদ তাঁর জানাজার নামাজ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। তাঁর জন্ম ১লা জানুয়ারি ১৯৪৭ সালে। দারিদ্র্যতাকে হার মানিয়ে জীবনযুদ্ধে বিজয়ী একজন সৈনিক ও শিক্ষাদরদী একজন মানুষ ছিলেন এই কবি ও লেখক। শিক্ষা প্রসারের জন্য নিজ এলাকায় প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন গুলবার্গ অ্যাকাডেমি। অ্যাকাডেমি পরিচালনার পাশাপাশি নিরলসভাবে সাহিত্যচর্চা চালিয়ে যান। তাঁর লেখনীর মূল উপজীব্য বিষয় ছিল মেহনতী ও অবহেলিত মানুষের আলেখ্য তুলে ধরা। তাঁর কয়েকটি প্রকাশিত গ্রন্থ জীবনের রঙ বদল, আলোকবর্তিকা, শিকড়ের খোঁজে, ফেরারি আসামি'র দিনলিপি ইত্যাদি।

দোলনচাঁপা নজরুল ফাউন্ডেশনের পরিচালনায় অনুষ্ঠিত হলো প্রমীলা ও নজরুল ইসলাম স্মৃতিচারণা অনুষ্ঠান

চুরুলিয়া: গত ৩০শে জুন এবং ১লা জুলাই দোলনচাঁপা নজরুল ফাউন্ডেশনের, কবি‌তীর্থ চুরুলিয়ার আয়োজনে কবি পত্নী প্রমিলা ও কাজী নজরুল ইসলামের স্মৃতিচারণা উপলক্ষে সাংস্কৃতিক উৎসব ও কবি সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। উপস্থিত ছিলেন কবি সাহিত্যিক, নৃত্যশিল্পী, সংগীত শিল্পী, সম্পাদক, দোলনচাঁপা নজরুল ফাউন্ডেশন-এর প্রধান উপদেষ্টা কাজী আলী রেজা, সভাপতি দিলীপ বিশ্বাস ও সম্পাদক সোনালী কাজী সহ প্রায় ২০০ জন গুণীজন। অনুষ্ঠানটি সঞ্চালনা করেন করেন সোনালী কাজী ও লীলাবতী বিশ্বাস। বিশ্বভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপক নজরুল গবেষক ডক্টর প্রহ্লাদ রায় কাজী নজরুল সম্পর্কে আলোকপাত করেন।

তিনি বলেন নজরুল ইসলাম দলিত, শোষিত অর্থনৈতিকভাবে দরিদ্র এবং ধর্মীয়ভাবে নিষ্পেষিত অবহেলিত সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য যা করে গেছেন তা আজও প্রাসঙ্গিক। উপস্থিতদের অনেকেই একক এবং সমবেত সংগীত, নৃত্য পরিবেশন করেন। সোনালী কাজী সংগীতে ও আলোচনায় প্রমিলাদেবী এবং তার দাদু কাজী নজরুলকে বিশেষভাবে স্মরণ করেন ।সভাপতি দিলীপ বিশ্বাস বলেন, " নজরুল ইসলাম এতদিন নানা কারণে এবং সরকার এবং সাহিত্য জগতের বিশেষ চাপে সঠিকভাবে মূল্যায়ন হননি।" ১লা জুলাই ২০২৫ সকাল ৮ ঘটিকায় বর্ণাঢ্য শোভাযাত্রা সহকারে সকলে প্রমিলা দেবীর সমাধিক্ষেত্রে এবং কাজী নজরুলের সমাধিক্ষেত্রে মর্যাদা সহকারে বস্ত্র চড়িয়ে দেন, পুষ্পার্ঘ নিবেদন, সংগীত এবং কবিতা পরিবেশিত করেন। সকাল দশটায় কবিতা উৎসবের সূচনা হয়। উদ্বোধন করেন বিশিষ্ট সাহিত্যিক ও কবি বরুণ চক্রবর্তী। তিনি বলেন যে কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম অল্প সময়ের মধ্যে যে সমস্ত বিষয় নিয়ে লিখেছেন সেগুলো আরও বেশি করে লোকের কাছে পৌঁছে দিতে হবে। এই কাজে কাজী রেজাউল করিম বিশেষ ভূমিকা পালন করেছেন । বর্তমানে সোনালী কাজই এই কাজ করে চলেছেন, সঙ্গ দিচ্ছেন দিলীপ বিশ্বাস সহ অনেকেই। আম্বেদকর কালচারাল কলেজের সভাপতি এবং বিএড কলেজের অধ্যক্ষ ডক্টর অপূর্ব কুমার বিশ্বাস কাজী নজরুল সম্পর্কে আরও অনেক নতুন তথ্য তুলে ধরেন। তিনি কাজী নজরুলকে শুধু বিদ্রোহী কবি হিসাবে ভাবেন না, তার কছে কাজী নজরুল একাধারে প্রেমিক কবি সাম্যবাদী কবি মানুষের। তিনি আরো বলেন যে কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলামের কলমে ধর্মের বিরুদ্ধে কিছু বলেনি, বলছে ধর্মের নামে চালিয়ে দেওয়া অমানবিক এবং প্রতারণা বিরুদ্ধে। এছাড়া বক্তব্য রাখেন বিশিষ্ট ডাক্তার এবং নিখিল ভারত বঙ্গ সাহিত্য সংস্কৃতি সম্মেলনের সম্পাদক হাসিবুর রহমান সহ অনেকে। সকল কবিদের রেজাউল করিম কবি সম্মানা, শিল্পী ও সমাজসেবকদেরকে দোলনচাঁপা রত্ন সম্মান দেওয়া হয়। পাঁচজন বিশিষ্ট মহিলাকে কবি পত্নী প্রমিলা সম্মানে ভূষিত করা হয়। এছাড়া ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের ছাতা এবং স্থানীয় মেয়েদের শাড়ি বিতরণ করা হয়।

Poem - The Saffron Scent and the Waves of the Eyes

Kareem Abdullah is an Iraqi poet, novelist, and literary critic. He was born in Baghdad in 1962. Kareem Abdullah is the author of the book "Baghdad in Her New Dress" (2015, Book House) as well as several other poetry collections, novels, and plays. His name has appeared in many important Arabic literary magazines, and he won the Tajdeed Prose Poetry Prize in 2016. Kareem has eight poetry collections in Arabic, and his poems have been translated into several languages.

He is a member of the General Union of Writers and Poets in Iraq. He works as a psychotherapeutic rehabilitation specialist.

The Saffron Scent and the Waves of the Eyes

Your saffron dress, my love, radiates from every thread a light woven by time with threads of gold, as if the sky had given the earth its last color before departing. I hear every step you take, drawing me towards you, like a soft note in an ancient melody played by the wind. You are the whispers that seep through the royal fragrance, a fragrance known only to kings, and you alone are the one who narrates in my eyes the endless poems of love. Every strand of your hair, each one has a story to tell, but the most beautiful thing about you is what hides behind your eyes, where the scent of saffron and the dream of flourishing fields reside. And you, you are the flower whose voice is heard in the silence of the universe, when you breathe. In your eyes, I see the sky celebrating, and in your heart, this world revolves around itself, following your footsteps, as a river follows its course under the bright sun, and you, you are the sun that never sets. All my dreams turn into roses when you touch them, you are the lady of the luxurious perfume that mingles with waves of love and sings the senses with a melody that echoes deep within. You are the one I live in and you are the one I see at every sunset when the colors of saffron creep into my sky, and the air sings about you, as rivers sing in time. Your love is time, and time is you.

HUMILITY IS STRENGTH

Don’t take my humility as my weakness

It is strength, in fact, for the success

Assertiveness is not a sign of ego

Humility does not stand everything forego

Humbleness and modesty are cousins of humility

You sacrifice for others, your own opportunity

Humility is God’s gift a trait of personality

Greedy persons cannot give anything in charity

Intellectual humility is not like a liability

Humble persons practice it to serve humanity

There is nothing in the world like value of humility

It is all about selflessness and spirituality

God loves His children for their simplicity

Arrogant cannot walk towards gods vicinity

Dictators always destroyed civilisations in history

However, Saints and Sufis’ survival is still a mystery

About the Poet:

Dr. Perwaiz Shaharyar is a Consultant Editor (Urdu) in National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Ministry of Education, Government of India. He had been Principal Publication Officer in National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language in 2007. He has been, a member of Advisory Board of National Book Trust India.

He is a Multilingual (English, Hindi and Urdu) famous poet, short story writer and critic from India. He is Graduate with English Honours from Ranchi University. He has topped Jawaharlal Nehru University in Masters with Literature. He was awarded Doctor of Philosophy for his Research Work from University of Delhi. He is Post Graduate Diploma holder in Calligraphy, Mass Media and in Book Publishing with Specialization in Editing.

Dr. Perwaiz Shaharyar began writing his poems in English since lockdown in the period of Pandemic COVID-19. He has written more than 100 poems, participated in many worldwide webinars and published in various international anthologies, so far. His as many as 25 poems have been translated by many award winning litterateurs in Polish, Indonesian, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, Bengali, Hindi, Portuguese, Italian, Korean and Albanian languages. His poems are being published in several anthologies within country and abroad. He has 20 published books of literature in his credentials, so far. He has won many awards and accolades for his outstanding intellectual and literary contributions. His poem ‘The Burning Boat’ contains mystic (Sufism) and metaphysical elements.
