On the Edge of the Wind
Nasser Alshaikhamed
It seems to me sometimes
She heard me loving her
Or she saw me whispering in her heart
It happens sometimes
That I suspect that she doesn't even feel me.
In the wall we crave a hole with a Chisel of patience
And a hammer of prospect,
that our hands may make an aperture
That allow the light of hope to penetrates
the space to our souls
that are fenced with despair.
Does the elderberry realize the dryness of its flowers
Except when it throws its self into a mirage of a cloud.
My memory is still pregnant with many details
And the scene is still as fragrant as the morning breath
Every time light penetrates your window
It would be me on the edge of the wind breathing you.
Meadows with yellow flowers
Predict the birth of a spring fetus
Who sips from the cups of passion
The anxiousness of infatuated rhyme of love.
We will meet at the harbors of nostalgia
And enjoy the chirping of birds
on the balcony in the morning
And when the seagulls wake up
There would be nothing to resemble the sound of waves
And the liquefied salt on the foam of the story.
Stolen Moments
Nasser Alshaikhamed
Stolen moments, precious and rare,
Beyond time and space, they dare
To grow bigger and brighter still,
lessening life's ordeals with their thrill.
In those fleeting seconds, we find
A respite from the daily grind,
A chance to breathe and just be,
To forget the world's complexity.
We steal away from the rush,
From the noise and endless hush,
And in those moments, we discover
A world that time cannot smother.
For stolen moments are like seeds,
That grow into towering trees,
Their branches reaching far and wide,
Offering shelter from life's tide.
They remind us of what truly matters,
Of comfort, that endures and never shatters,
And though they may be brief in time,
Their impact lasts a lifetime.
So let us cherish these stolen moments,
For they are gifts that heaven sent us,
And still, they may be few and far between,
They fill our hearts with joy serene.
Power of Devotion
Nasser Alshaikhamed
My woman, you are the force that moves me,
The power that strengthens my wall
With you, I feel invincible,
And I know we can conquer all.
Your passion heals my deepest wounds,
comforts me in my darkest hour,
You bring me joy; you make me happy,
And pour into me like a rain shower.
Together, we can face any challenge,
And overcome any adversity,
For our affection gives us courage,
And opens us up to a new possibility.
Marital bond is a reign that unites us,
Beyond gender, race, and creed,
It's about compassion, empathy, and understanding,
And treating others with kindness, indeed.
Let us cherish the power of devotion,
And celebrate it every day,
For it binds us together, like streams in a river,
And guides us through the journey in every way.
